Does anyone have any really good books that they really enjoy or that have touched their lives?
I really enjoyed “Real Worship” written by Warren Wiersbe. This book really shows how worship is not just on stage, but how we live our lives for God every day! Check it out if you can!
Please share.

Pastor Jason has been going through The Measure of a Man by Gene Getz with our leadership team and it has been really good and is extremely challenging if you are willing to be transparent and desire to grow in humility.
The book covers the leadership qualities that Paul wrote to both Timothy and Titus about. The book not only covers the qualification of leadership but also some of the potential pitfalls that can happen if you do not “Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine.” Each chapter ends with a challenge in a specific area to help you grow personally as a servant leader in the church.
The Measure of a Man is good as a quick read but to get the most out of it your study should be focused and cover at least one but no more than two chapters a week. There are 20 chapters total.
1 Timothy 3:1 – This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work.

Hey Johnny! There are two books that have really challenged me I guess would be the best way to put it! One is called Evidence Not Seen by Darlene Deibler Rose and Dying Out Loud by Shawn Smucker. Each of these are missionary biographies, stories of men and women who served Jesus and remained faithful even in the most extreme conditions and in turn they saw God remain completely faithful to them and do some amazing things in their lives! Maybe the ladies would be encouraged with Darlene as I was!

Hey All, Currently reading Storm “Hearing Jesus in the times we live in”. Great book half way thru. I was at the ECPC in Sandy Cove where i was able to meet up with David Pierce. Jim Cymbala really ministered to me regarding prayer and depending on the Holy Spirit. I also got to sit down with Pastor Raul Ries for about 10 minutes and he expressed “to be on my knees and nose to the ground in prayer. This was the reason for changing Tuesday Night bible to 30 mins study thru the Gospel of Mark and the last half in prayer.
Also going thru Pastor Chuck Smiths Commentary on The Book of Acts as we are currently going thru Acts on Sunday Mornings.
Warren Wiersbes Be Series on Acts and Mark
