To God be the Glory

It will be a year in September that God started to call my name. September will be a year since my future flashed before me. I saw God going before me in my future. He showed me His plan, that He already planned for me to do in advance. He showed me nobody can take my life or persecute me unless He allows it and that I just needed to be brave and obedient.

God spoke to me many times about going into my neighborhood and inviting women to come to my home for a Bible study ( that I would moderate not teach). After 50 days of praying, listening and reading in the book of Acts for guidance, I went door to door in my neighborhood. We started in January, took a 2 month break, resumed in May and finished the last weekend in June.

There were times of fear and doubt because I had no one to mentor me and be honest about what was happening. I thought I was crazy, which was scary. God alone mentored me and tested me and I am so blessed because I learned to trust Him more then ever before. CCF Bible College has been such a blessing! I’m learning so much about character and calling and I cry all the time because I know I’m not crazy, LOL. The more I learn the more I see we share the same vision.

God has called me to impact the women in my neighborhood, their homes, our neighborhood and our community. The next time we meet will be September 17 and we will learn how to “diminish strongholds” like pride, anger, cutting, addiction…etc. Please pray for us!

Do your best and commit the rest to God. He is capable of handling everything we cannot past our best efforts for Him.

God, You know Arlene’s call and vision better than anyone else. You know what exactly she needs to complete the call, would you please grant her what is necessary to do so. Thank you for her desire to build up the women that You have placed in her community. God please glorify Your great name through her. Would grant the women who are meeting together for the Bible College, sweet fellowship and a greater passion to know You intimately. Amen.
